Default I'm about to take the game back -

Honestly - I've had it with Battlefield. This is getting ridiculous. Ever since installing this game, I've had nothing but trouble. Whether it's a crash on the computer, and a freeze, or if the damn textures wont go beyond the "shitty" setting - the game simply refuses to run under the recommended settings.

You SHOULDN'T have to tweak a game THIS much to get it to work. I'm glad that alot of you have managed to solve your problems, but I see alot of us with good computers, (1.4mhz, 256ram, Geforce2 mx 400/400, ASUS MB, newest sound AND video drivers) getting stuck in the mud with this game and it's a little more than frustrating. It's insulting. I paid 45 dollars for this thing. Not 45 dollars to get 30 minutes of gameplay and then have to load back to desktop. 45 dollars to get a gaming experience promised by the minimum and recommended system settings.

I IMMENSELY hope the development team is enjoying it's time on vacation, I really do. They've certainly left their home in good condition and have NOTHING to worry about once returning.

I especially like the IGN interview with their "mine all mine" attitude regarding modding. Yea, VALVE and SIERRA have 50,000 players on Half Life at any given time because they hoarded their code.

If this seems like a rant - it is.
