With PC you can play the games on cracked servers as well (but I did buy BF 1942 so I wasn't limited to cracked servers so don't look at me like that). Connect to xbox live with a modchip, try to play, and your banned. Ouch.

Christ, I thought I could stop replying, but I got to when some false info is being spread.
There’s alot of dealing with saying OMFG MY PC IS LEIK 800000 tiemz beta!!!! Well I admit that PC can produce graphics alot better. But, the games are made to be played perfectly at 640x480. They have the same high quality graphics settings, and use AA so I mean the issues of jagged edges is not there, one of the reasons of wanting a higher res. As for as more quality via more pixels per inch, It really doesn’t show that much on the low definition TV display due to blur. I have run my PC at 1024x768 on a TV(BF42 when R2R came out) , its nice, but the difference isn’t too much. I’m not saying an xbox is >/= PC merely saying is comparable, and is good for a cheap easy alternative. Also you can play xbox online with a modchip/fonthack you just have to use a 3rd party app like XBconnect or other tunneling software Xlink, gamespy tunnel, Etc… (no cracked shit to worry about) or turn off the mod and use live. You have to deal with the same type of annoyance of using a crack in PC as you do with using a 3rd party app on the box.
I am totally with buying a game for online, online games deserved to be bought to be enjoyed.

Er, I have a cube (2, ones broke), don’t even want to touch the PS2 (hyped crap) I think xbox is really the best choice there. Depends on who you are, and what your friends use (just like operating systems…)
