Probably the biggest problem that I have with console gaming is the painfully shitty multiplayer.

I want to kill myself looking at that slpit screen. The only advantage that I can really see to buying an X-box over any other console is that you are going to have a huge social factor that comes into play with X-box Live. You can go online and hang out with some of your buddies ayn time of day or night. Vs any other console where they do have the internet based multiplayer but it is no where near as good. The fact that Microsoft runs all of it and sets certain standards for things is giant (no lag).

Yeah yeah yeah, "Only advantage? Look at the numbers Mandingo! This thing has the most power!" I don't care. If I look at a Ps2 then I look at an X-box. The graphics are not dramatically different enough for me to really give a shit. I say that the fact that this thing has got some awsome multiplayer action makes it the best.
Well as one of the few pro-xbox people, I guess Ill have to stick up for it.

Personally, I have never used Xbox live. (have used XBconnect) One problem being the new dash will takeout my mod so I cant. Even if it werent so, I still prolly wouldnt. PC is just great for Online, I hop on TS, and theres all the people I want to play online with. But with live you got the same thing with headset and buddy names...

One big thing is that all the games are custimized for the box. I have never had to upgrade it which is nice, and means I can play new games with my friends who dont upgrade their PC's. Multiplay is great, had a couple of friends over for xbox lan once, good stuff.
