I have recently acquired a Logitech Extreme Digital 3D joystick and I can't seem to bind the throttle correctly.

My approach has been to use the Logitech Profiler software to bind joystick axis and buttons to the appropriate keystrokes in BF. Everything works EXCEPT I cannot emulate a gradient for the throttle. I bound 'W' to Throttle Up and 'S' to Throttle Down - which works, but it means that using the joystick throttle has only three modes: 100%; 0%; and -100%. I am expecting a smooth range depending on the exact setting of the slider; I don't always want to go at full speed and I'd rather not make constant on/off adjustments to the throttle while flying.

I have NOT made any changes to the air.con file, but I am happy and willing to do so if anyone has advice.
