I have small tiny, crap power supply which needs a good upgrading. I'm looking at the Achieve 500 Watt P4/Athlon (http://xoxide.com/powersupplies1.html). I think I have 300 in there now. I originally bought a lame computer for $120 from ebay and was/am upgrading it, so things like the motherboard and power supply are poor. I am noticing that occasionaly my computer locks up for a few seconds (it was doing it for a record 1:11 seconds today). Rebooting fixes it most of the time. I can't target a process that's making it happen. I think it's a lack of power and it is cuasing a strain on the system.

I have added 2 fans to the side of my case and have a craptaculer GeForce FX 5200 which is not friendly with BF1942 and needs to be rehoused into a budget PC. Noise isn't a problem, I welcome noise. I ain't gonna spend $17.99 on a noise mat! Just increases heat!

The Sandra report doesn't mention I have a 512mb stick of (2100) DDR RAM. That goes in a budget PC too. It may have picked up on the Sound Blaster 2 Platinum though.

Repair me!
