There are issues if you have a sound blaster card, they can cause the game to randomly crash. Another problem with high end PC's, is the power supply (psu). Some 3d-cards these days are power hungry, so you need at least 300w psu with some. Cards such as Radeon 9700 pro. need psu's of 500w for it not to crash. If you dont have a 300w psu, get one. If this is not your problem... dont ask me

Usually tho, insufficent psu's cause a complete freezing of the PC, no desktop. Just take it into consideration mayb.
