Thats lag i think. When your typing and your game slows down it wont register the keys youve hit, so i guess a fix for that would be lag bugs.
Something that anoys the shit out of me is massive text bursts.
There will be no chat for ages, then 20 lines of chat just burst on your screen. Its very anoying.
